1.03 TO:  POTENTIAL BIDDERS

1. Your firm is invited to submit an offer under seal to Owner (City Clerk) for renovation of the Riverfront Museum Chimney located at Riverfront Park on Washington Street before 4:00 pm local standard time on June 21^st 2022, for:
2. Project: Riverfront Museum Chimney Renovation.  Work will include removal of existing brick and stone, installation of new brick and reinstallation of existing stone.
3. Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting June 2^nd, 2022, at 10:00 am on project site.
4. Bid documents are available at no cost by going to:  www.pickeringplanroom.com
5. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount.
6. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 002113 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 003100 - Available Project Information.
7. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided.
8. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Riverfront Museum Chimney Bid".  Electronic bids will not be accepted.
9. Successful bidder will be required to obtain and pay for a City Business License.
10. Successful bidder will be required to obtain City building permit, but there will be no fee for permit.
11. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission.
12. Bids will be publicly opened on June 21^st at 7:00 pm during City Council Meeting.
13. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
