Research Help

We’re happy to assist with research inquiries whenever possible. Requests are handled based on available time, resources, and staff capacity. Please share details about your project so we can better understand how to help. While we’ll do our best to assist, we can’t guarantee results, and some historical sources may be incomplete or contain inaccuracies.

Testimonials

  • "My favorite part is researching the history of objects on display…where the object was made, who used it, and its purpose. Almost like a puzzle to be solved! Always interesting! Preserving ad recording is the key to a history never forgotten." - Brenda Webb, volunteer since Nov. 2021
  • "I have learned so much during this time about our wonderful town and county. This small town has so many interesting stories and so much history that not many are aware of." - Carol Crow, volunteer since Oct. 2021
  • I’ve enjoyed getting to know my community better, renewing old friendships, and working with enthusiastic and knowledgeable people! You always feel like there is a place for anyone to join in and that everyone has something of genuine value to contribute. It is really the level of personal involvement that has become such a fun and surprising aspect of volunteering! – Janie Singleton, volunteer since January 2023
